>>WTF is “crony capitalism”?

It is a market where government heavily influences who wins and who loses. Ever hear of rent-seeking? It’s in that economics text that you half read. Rent-seeking is the mildest form of crony capitalism. Subsidies, regulations, etc that do not affect all equally are another form it takes. Lobbyists and outright bribes are not crony capitalism in themselves, but the effects of them usually are, in the form of pork barrel projects and the aforementioned subsidies, etc are crony capitalism.

Your textbook economics is nice, but find the explanation of ceteris paribus to really understand just how simplistic they are in an infinitely complex system.

>>Hint #1: the Constitution is the Supreme law of the Land.

OMG, did you just wake up from a 20 year sleep?

Circuit judges, the SCOTUS, EOs, and media are the de facto supreme law of this land. The Constitution is just a firewall...if it’s even that anymore.

That is unconstitutional government corruption.

that economics text

You mean the Keynesian Economics text that the Left has brainwashed you with?

an infinitely complex system

Spoken like a good Marxist who loved calling the free market economy "capitalism". The marketplace may be complex but not beyond comprehension.

The issue here is a relatively simple one. Government regularly violates the Constitution by engaging in bribes and subsidies in the marketplace. The Constitution give the feds no authority to do such. THAT is the problem. Business is doing its job by maximizing their profits and doesn't care where it comes from whether the rogue, illegal federal government or elsewhere.

You espouse Leftist doctrine and are part of the problem rather than part of the solution.

You’re a POW. You’ve given up.

If there were enough like you in 1776, we never would have become a nation because all people like you do is point out how impossible everything is.

But freedom takes faith and faith CHANGES fact. Thank God there were enough people in 1776 that loved freedom, had faith in Divine Province to do the impossible, and defeated the most powerful nation on earth.

Today is the same. We need more people like that and less like you.

Bye.

I’m not pointing out how impossible anything is. I’m pointing out where we are starting from at this minute instead ignorantly acting like our starting position is much better.

People who assume that theories are real are the ones who create defeat.

Like our Founders?

You fail to distinguish between myth and faith. Myth and faith in man and his government is what the Left is all about. Faith in God is what the Right SHOULD be all about.

You seem to have faith in nothing and appear to me to be part of the problem.

Bye.

The Constitution as written and originally understood and intended must be reinstated as the Supreme Law of the Land in order to restore our Free Constitutional Republic and it WILL be restored.

The courts are so corrupt only a tyrant could restore the Constitution. Problem is that tyrant could completely destroy it. Double edge sword.

A tyrant would never and could never restore the Constitution as it would be that tyrant’s own demise, the Constitution being an anti-totalitarian document mandating its Supreme Rule of Law over the federal government instead of the tyranny of the Rule of Man.

We the People with the help of the Divine Providence of God Almighty will put down the 80% unconstitutional portion of the $4 trillion federal government and will restore our Free Constitutional Republic against all odds like our forefathers did in 1776 with the help of Divine Providence.

I should have qualified the tyrant as a "good" tyrant. Washington could have been King for life but chose not to be, their could be another honest man no matter how rare.

Well, I know of no such thing as a man that is a “good tyrant” just as I know of no such thing as a government that has “good tyranny”. Both sooner or later rip their mask off to show the wolf hiding behind sheep’s clothing.

They wanted Washington to be such a tyrant and he refused. Washington was not a tyrant “good” or otherwise. OTOH, FDR is an example of a “beloved” tyrant whose unconstitutional acts (the definition of tyranny) created the $4 trillion mostly unconstitutional federal government monster that we have today. FDR wasn’t a “good” tyrant - he was a Marxist that stole our freedoms and created a monster.

No, it will be freedom lovers at the state and federal level who will need to step up and undo the damage of the likes of FDR, Obama, and the Lying Left.

Who will be in charge of the group and will he relinquish power? Seems you pose the same quandary I did. There will be a strong man rise up to fix our problems and we won't have anything to say about it. We better hope he is a just man. Most of us here thought Trump could be that man. I no longer think there is any man that can solve the problems we face.

As a Christian I see Jesus as the final solution.

Who was this “tyrant” that brought a bunch of rag-tag colonists to Declare Our Independence (DofI) and defeat the greatest power in the world? No one except freedom itself and a common ardent love for freedom amongst those who fought against tyranny.

Before the Dof I there was no one leader but many who had a common goal: freedom from tyranny. After the Dof I, Washington was appointed Commander-in-Chief of the Continental Army but of course others had to appoint him.

Before and after the D of I there were many military and political fronts carried on by many. Washington emerged as a major player mostly because others assigned him that role, but there were many other players and leaders. Such is what will need to happen today. Look to yourself for what you can to do help restore our Free Constitutional Republic.

And Jesus is right in there pitching with us just like he was in 1776 . No difference.

We have several subcultures today it will be hard to organize into a single freedom loving group.

The Left see us as a bunch of separate and opposing groups and classes, but we are not. Out of many we are one and we are untied in one purpose: restoring freedom over tyranny.

E Pluribus Unum.
