I swear, I thought this was a joke.
So, you and I pay $10.99 for Amazon Prime (shipping, movie streaming, etc.) but if you have an EBT card, you can get it for $5.99. This means anyone who has Amazon prime (or more accurately, just uses Amazon) subsidizes, against their will, welfare recipients above and beyond what we pay in taxes.
Bezos will accept food stamps for prime subscriptions next.
Soon the local Lexus dealer will be giving discounts to EBT card holders-————why not?/s
