Trump’s “Make America Great Again” campaign slogan was a callback to a time in 1960s America in which if you were “white, Anglo-Saxon and Protestant, it was a great time to be alive,” but not if you were “anything else.”

Why can't you have a great time to be alive if you are "anything else"?

Why do you imply that the "great time" discriminates by race?

James Brown saw a ton of success in the 1960s and said that it couldn’t have happened anyplace BUT America.
