On the day of the April 16th shooting at Virginia Tech, there was a kid selling guns in the middle school down the street from VT. The kid did not get off easily. Bad timing.
There was a possible school shooting stopped a few months afterwards at the same school. I only know because my son identified the kid’s locker where the guns were found to school officials.
People don’t realize just how common this is and how long it’s been going on.
My mother was a teacher in the K-12 system, primary education, in California. In the early 80’s, a couple of FBI agents entered her 7th grade classroom and arrested a student on grounds of running guns for the Mexican mafia. She decided after 43 years of teaching, to retire the next year. It just wasn’t worth it anymore.
