Answer is no. However I have concerns about my toaster. I think it's evil............

I’m reminded each morning that my alarm clock is evil.

If you have a new refrigerator it runs on software.
If it connects to the internet, it can be hacked.

Gardner says those devices can be used as weapons of mass disruption. And where exactly would "smart meters" enter into that equation?

This should not be the subject of ridicule. I have not bought into the IOT because I understand it is the easiest entry point to hack into computers in a household. If and when the industry tightens up security I might take the plunge.

Call me old fashioned...I’ve managed to get this far without a web connected fridge...hope to finish out that way.

You just have to figure out how to work with it, like Lucy Ricardo did.

I think it has to do with hot dogs and buns.

I have a toaster oven that IS EVIL! I can’t work it, no instructions, nothing written on the buttons! WHERE IS THE on? WHERE IS THE off?
My wife says it is simple. Just push this, that, turn this over here!
Then I yell,
HOW DO I GET THIS THING OUT OF SECOND GEAR!

Is your refrigerator running? Well, you better get a net & catch it.<<Puppage, 1975

"Ive yet to figure out the connection between refrigerators and porn."
I'd wager a quick google search would come up with something.

You buy a refrigerator when you need something frigid in your house.
You buy porn when you already have something frigid in your house.
To: Sub-Driver
People who buy connected, smart devices are stupid.
The only good news is they are not smart enough to realize they have surrendered any and all privacy.
