I know that works (no HTML) in regular reply posts. Are you sure the same applies to 1st reply/1st OP thread post comment, as well? Too lazy to do a ‘test’ post to verify :-)
The HTML rule applies throughout FR. I copy/paste articles regularly with no HTML as the OP, along with my initial comment.
