They are skilled at creating a point of discussion and keeping it going for several weeks. This is picked up and hyped by all the media, creating a meme that becomes the background for the leftist activists, on which they carry out their actions.
They created this background meme after Charlottesville, and the left immediately picked up on it and started destroying things and firing people for being White.
They are skilled at it, and normal people are not skilled in fighting it.

Does the KKK even exist anymore outside of movies and liberal imaginations? I’ve live in the South my entire life, and never met a Klansman.
Even acknowledging the felons couldn't vote anyway, there are a lot of people who committed violent crimes against blacks that were never caught. Why didn't the MSM call on Hillary to disavow their support?
On CBS election night coverage, minutes after Trump’s victory speech, one Michele Norris referred to DJT as:
“...a candidate who was endorsed by the KKK and did not denounce that.”
Norris is affiliated with something called the Aspen Institute and something else called the Race Card Project.
On Aspen’s site she is described as “one of the most trusted voices in American journalism.”
Never heard of her before the CBS election night; nor since.
Impossible to say if she’s ignorant or a liar or both.
