“The resolution is designed to accomplish six major goals: cap North Korea’s oil imports, ban textile exports, end additional overseas laborer contracts, suppress smuggling efforts, stop joint ventures with other nations and sanction designated North Korean government entities”

Sounds weak. “CAP” their oil imports? How about STOPPING their oil imports?

End “ADDITIONAL” labor contracts? How about cancelling current ones?

And NK exports products through China, marking them “made in China”;
so a ban on NK products doesn’t mean much.

Yeah. It, like most UN actions, doesn’t touch the “underground” economy which for North Korea is bigger than the aboveboard economy.
