It would be more likely to be a choice influenced from events

I repeat it is a behavior, start with that do not begin the discussion with choice. There are many causes of behavior, but behavior can be modified.

Murder is a behavior
theft is a behavior
drugs is a behavior
drinking is a behavior
lying in s behavior
homer sexuals is a behavior

It is absolutely a behavior. But how many murderers or thieves wrap up their whole sense of self in the things they do?

There is then the crude external sin, the behavior as homosexuals act out their lusts; but, before that is the sin in the mind, in the heart, that draws them to the behaviors they subsequently act out.

These TOO are acts, but can they not arise in the confused and confusing infantile, in the passion and not reason.

I’m speaking of “feels”, and not “thinks”. Try to argue with a heart flutter or a moment of fancy, it is an exercise in interrogating madness. Even the proper object for what caused these may be misinterpreted!

With no grounding in even mere morality (as has been under constant attack in this culture for many years) what has a worldling at their disposal to correct the odd feeling, to place it in a correct context (and thereby escape it) or even to rebuke it?

Remember, the enemy of our souls is not flesh and blood. When people refuse to retain knowledge of God, especially if to chase after some imitation that only apes the faith, do they and their communities retain any hedge of protection from those enemies?

Godliness creates an influence where protecting the Saints protects the sinners too ... at least to some degree. Carnality does the opposite, for in the filth of the world even Saints are troubled and spattered with what those partying in their cesspool splash about in. The former restrains the Devil. The latter is his opportunity.

Consider how remarkably spot on Romans 1:18-32 really is. It doesn’t start with homosexuality, nor does end there ... but like a proverbial canary in a coal mine which dies, rather than be alarmed and take notice (as real world miners would do) those whom are bring turned over redouble their efforts. The canaries have been dropping like ... canaries ... but the party hearty is only picking up speed and the madness brought on by the foul sir is taking on new forms (genderism, notably), even crazier forms.
