No one is arguing what is BETTER!
But I listened to a volunteer from Connecut relaying tornado warnings and weather updates ALL DAY LONG to people on Zello because they had a free app but didn’t have a $150 radio.
I’m listening to people with emergencies RIGHT NOW on Zello because they can’t get through to 911.
If you have dispatch experience there are some guys on those channels who have been disseminating information for 80 solid hours. Go help. It’s a free app.
I am only trying to explain this to you so maybe others might take heed and maybe spend a 100 bucks or so in the future, so they too can have the most reliable means possible of hearing the outside world, if disaster visits them in the future.
This is not a contest. I am not competing with you.
