60-65 knot doppler velocity along the blue lines in this graphic, now 15 minutes old. (realtime post was on old thread)

Typically, my 65 knot doppler velocities translate to 130 mph surface winds, but no promises.

Day two of a 3 day planned event beginning here. 6 hours down after KW landfall, which followed a 24 hour PC marathon, studio then Irma. I am current over the last hour, following a 6 hour gap. Do we have any hard data out of KW-Marathon yet? Peak windspeeds, peak surge, damage estimates, peak wave heigth?

Zero WSR-88D data out of KBYX at Key West NAS in last 4 hours.

Also, I’m looking for any Irma-related tornadic ground truth to tune velocity and shear captures collected here.

Just got a report from former Marathon Mayor John Bartus recommending that people “don't try and return to Keys until the water is back—good only to mm86,power is back down most places,road debris is cleared,two choke points one at 75 just below Islamorada and another at 29.”
