"Look at this...there's no water in the Bahamas..." With the caveat that I am not any kind of authority on hurricane/ocean behavior, I do know that when you see that sort of thing it generally means there is a monster tidal wave or surge of some kind headed your way.
I certainly wouldn't be hanging around on that beach!

In this case it’s caused by wind and it comes back slowly. My friend posted video of it on facebutt and then later said the water had returned. He was out walking around in the uncovered area.
