Yes. Even under the best circumstances life is hard at that age. Even if his father is innocent — and I believe he is — the humiliation might’ve been too much to bear.
I am wondering why his son went to Boulder. Too bad it wasn’t one of the few but fine conservative universities where he’d have a chance at not being a target for ridicule or WORSE these days.
