Prepubescence is easily distracted by superficial sexual distinctions. A little girl may consider herself more like a boy because she enjoys boyish activities.
Similarly a little boy may enjoy more girlish play. The girl may fantasize becoming a fire fighter. The boy may be fascinated by fashion design. Tese are natural, normal and healthy interests. Treating this behavior as a desire to change one’s sex creates a mental health and biological disaster.
It is not possible to reverse chromosomal identity. Butchering the body of a child to create the appearance of the opposite sex is criminal depravity.
An adult seeking to create opposite sex appearance is the definition of perversion.
OK< so he grew a [air of breasts. That is relatively easy to correct later as male are born with the ‘breast’ anatomy which will never develop like a female’s breasts.
However, I have always wondered whether males dwho transition to females actually develop female anatomical features. As a woman, I can tell you that there is a reason why old timers referred to menstruation as a ‘curse’. Does a 14 year-old boy really understand the process that women go through every month? I doubt it.
A cousin of mine who is now deceased used to say that there ought to be a way to just ‘turn off’ menstruation after the number of children have been born. Of course she was being facetious as medical procedures can now do that. Her other favorite statement was that she “always knew God was a male since if he was female, he would never have created such an abomination as menstruation for women.” We always laughed at that one.
Interesting thing here is that the story of this boy’s decision to revert to accepting his maleness is actually being told on a national TV show. I just hope the estrogen therapy has not damaged his male development and created a sterile adult.
