If you were out of the country and facing felony charges and prison time in the U.S., why would you go back knowing your husband is likely going to jail and has already been black balled and tainted in the U.S.?

Maybe for the same reason Linda Tripp says she probably saved Monica Lewinsky's life?
This person probably feels safer being in the public eye in the United States legal system than hiding somewhere in Pakistan constantly looking at shadows.
