Question for anyone..what exactly make everyone think that Irma is going to take a sharp turn to the north at some predefined time?
Primary models are aligning to within 100 miles or so of that turning point and should continue to get closer to each other over time.
A cold front and high pressure to the west will block it and steer it northward.
It’ll follow the path of least resistance.
