Hmm, another completely honest question: What are your feelings on David Duke and your avg “Unite the Right” attendee/group?

“What are your feelings on David Duke and your avg “Unite the Right” attendee/group?”

I’ve never done any research on DD or Unite the Right or white supremacy in general.

When I hear people or groups referred to as “white supremacists”, I assume it’s one of several scenarios (but I don’t always know which!)

1) It is very likely to be a totally false accusation by the left to smear and discredit a conservative group or individual. The leftist fake news media does this all the time. Leftist politicians use this smear in every election - and there doesn’t need to be a shred of truth to make it stick. All they need to do is say Trump didn’t “disavow” David Duke fast enough or often enough - total fake news.

2) It might be a totally accurate description; the group or individual may actually believe that whites are superior and that whites should be in charge. For all I know, David Duke falls into this catagory - I know there are people who believe whites are superior - like I said I never really researched it. I think it’s anti-social and obnoxious to go around saying one race is superior to another. But I assume it’s a tiny fraction of a percent, so I never really took it seriously.

3) It might be a grey area; the group or individual might believe for example that white peoples’ culture and values are under attack and that white people need to stand up and assert themselves, be proud of who they are, or they will be eclipsed, and go the way of the dodo bird. I feel like I ought to be able to say I’m glad I’m white, be attracted to and marry a white woman - is it racist to have a racial preference? There are a lot of grey areas, which is why we have the first amendment.

My opinion is that any real white supremacy movement in this country is miniscule and irrelevant - the only reason the subject of “white supremacy” makes it into the headlines is because the left has found it to be an effective strategy to smear conservatives by creating a false association between “right wing extremists” and conservatism. They use it to peddle fear and make conservatism out to be a threat to people of color.

Why did you do the uniparty thing and question only the unite the right and ignore antifa?

Also, you seem to be stuck in the antiquated age of conservative versus liberal when we are now in the age of glibalists versus nationalist, and you are siding with the globalists.
