I like the positioning:
1. Not my legal ability to continue this executive order.
2. Congress is in charge of immigration.
3. If they don’t act, I will have to revisit.
Trump has managed to:
1. Act legally
2. Put a burden on the backs of every RINO in a primary to defend
3. Blame Congress instead of himself
4. Be compassionate.
5. Point out Obama was acting illegally.
He’s pushing them to pass an amnesty.
That is a horrible position.
All he needed to do is what he promised during the campaign and end the program.
As I said on a prior post, the messaging in the tweet is atrocious. I’ll ask it again, WTF does ““I will revisit this issue!” mean? He should have said, “It is now time for Congress to act!” Instead of righteously hanging DACA around Congress’ neck, he assumes responsibility. That’s exactly the wrong message.
