There’s probably also plenty of stuff that needs to be built/rebuilt in Mexico.

If only we had a President who had experience building things. /S

The best thing he can do is get the hell out of the way. We're AMERICANS! We the People know what to do.

How about we just deport those that are illegally collecting welfare and benefits WHILE working under the books?

Everyone OK with that?

Ok good.

Nay, nay. The reconstruction will be done my AMERICAN CITIZENS and/or skilled tradesmen and any necessary laborers holding GREEN CARDS and here with OUR PERMISSION.

Yes, the final cost MIGHT be a tad higher but when we shake out the welfare costs, charity ER and other costs, it will probably be about the same.

Hell, shake out the millions sent to Mexico and points south and, instead, keeping the dough HERE to circulate in OUR economy, it might actually be cheaper!

Just sayin’!

So, if guest workers are needed, reinstate the Bracero Program or other legal guest worker program. It just amazes me that this country can't come up with something that simple and workable.

Dang spell check.

“If they deport all of us, who will rebuild?”

If they deport us all, who will be the drunk drivers?

If they deport us all, who will consume the resources that were never paid into?

If they deport us all, who will vote illegally?

If they deport us all, who will rape your women and girls?

If they deport us all, who will be the drug smugglers and gang bangers?

Well Sammy,
I just spent the last 5 days mucking out my house and a neighbors place that got flooded, and guess what? Not an illegal to be seen anywhere.

Of course the country can fix the problem, but the Democrats are using the same strategy they used for health care - which is to let the existing system rot and rot and rot, never allowing reform...until they get all they want.

Same here - we could clean up Illegal Immigration overnight and have a nice, big, great, guest-worker program in 2 weeks...but the Dems won’t let us, and the Republicans are too pussy-whipped to even push for it.

Well that’s one was to do it faster/cheaper. Ignore red tape or consequences.

“We do more for less.”

I’m sure US construction-related unions would be very happy about this.

I am so sick and tired of this absolute crap nonsense! Like America can not survive or accomplish anything without ILLEGAL ALIENS. We will do just fine with Legal Immigrants and American citizens thank you so much! Yes you are here illegally regardless of what that fool Barack Obama thought!

“If they deport all of us, who will rebuild?” says Enríquez, 36, waiting along with about two dozen other laborers seeking work. “We do more substandard work for less.”

Fixed it. I work in the construction industry. Yea that cheap labor is cheap alright. Ever seen the masonry work done by cheap labor? Half the buildings will be falling down later. How about we put Americans back to work instead?

Such cr**. Dems are telling them they're going to be hunted...and deported.

Dear illegals...What happens depends on YOUR behavior.

But as long as you are illegal, you can NEVER gain citizenship.

Go home and come back the right way...through legal channels.
