My point is YOU ARE WRONG in wanting to divide California.

Getting three to five times more bad than good out of changing a situation is not advantageous. Support for this on a national scale is the same as support for Puerto Rico or Guam statehood. ZILCH.

One thing you are correct on. I will go now and exercise my freedom to meander aimlessly throughout my entire community, being the DF that you claim me to be and spouting my pie hole to any and all the people on Main Street of Hayseed, Kansas USA (immediately after I wave to them and say "Hi. How are you doing?", because thats just the silly way we are able to act when we have SO MUCH FREEDOM), fully armed and unafraid of anyone or anything I may encounter.

It is you that has it WRONG!

I am for splitting my state into two states and no
more! In the state legislature LA County has 11
state senators for that one county. Meanwhile, I am a
resident of a county that is among 20 counties that is
represented by a SINGLE STATE SENATOR and you say that
I am wrong to want to divide into two states? You seem
to suffer from the erroneous idea that everybody in a
large population state like California has a similar
mindset. That may be the case in your state but it is
most definitely not so in California. To state that my
part of California would be no more red than Oregon
and Washington betrays an unbelievable ignorance.
And, for the record many citizens of Southern Oregon
feel just as disenfranchised in their situation as we
Northern Californians do in ours. That is why Southern
Oregonians and Northern Californians joined together
in the first State of Jefferson movement way back in
1940.

If you don’t know that your basic small town Northern
California person is a “Hi. How are you doing?” type
then you haven’t spent any measurable time traveling
the region which means that you should probably ask
more questions rather than provide uninformed answers.
