Wrong. An EMP cannot do that. If it did, ask yourself how did we ever record nuclear tests if it destroys all things electronic and electrical.
Wrong-—Many nuke tests done at ground level, or underground. Not in the earth’s atmosphere, at least that I’m aware of.

Uh, lots of tests were underground, sea level, and on towers.
As a matter of fact the emp affect is incidental from a standard nuke device.
At the right altitude an emp blast can do more damage than the nuke. Close to the ground, half of the emp energy is absorbed into the ground, at altitude, the range is greater and the area coverage us greater. Higher altitude ignition improves the odds of success too.

You’re right about this.....an EMP will not destroy “everything”, but you repeatedly assert it will barely do anything, and that is wrong.
