Trump uncovers evidence of Dreamers loophole hidden by Obama
Washington Times ^ | 2 September 2017 | Stephen Dinan

Thousands of Dreamers have used a loophole in federal law to get on a full pathway to citizenship, top congressional Republicans revealed Friday, citing government data withheld by the Obama administration but provided by the Trump administration.

The Dreamers were all part of DACA, the legally questionable amnesty program that’s under scrutiny right now as President Trump decides whether to scrap the Obama-era amnesty.

The House and Senate Judiciary Committees revealed that more than 45,000 DACA recipients were approved for “advance parole,” which is permission to leave and reenter the U.S. despite not being in permanent legal status here.

But under a quirk of law, those granted advance parole can then ask to adjust their status and gain legal residence — and eventually citizenship — as long as they have a qualifying relationship. The Obama administration had seemed intent on keeping the data secret, refusing to answer requests from Congress. The Trump administration complied.

San Diego county voter rolls show 30% more registered than there are adult residents in the whole GD county:

RIDICULOUS.

Hook up those boxcars and get rollin’ southerwards, clickety-clack, down old Mehico way.

Deport all illegals. Not our problem that their parents brought them here. To their benefit, they get to go home with an American education, our values, and will be well situated to prosper in their home countries.

Correct.

And all the illegal criminals, and their criminal enablers, expect our children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, etc., to support them forever. And future American generations will be the poorer for it... forever. No culture or country can support the entire world's poor indefinitely.

What once, generations ago, speculating about the future, was referred to as the utterly dismal scenario...

Referring to future world population and food, disease, armed conflicts, food and water wars, national disasters, etc...

“That may be too disruptive, because many cities would spend great amounts of time defending these individuals who actually were born here.”

I don’t know how this relates to DACA, because any children of illegals born here are “automatically” citizens. The issue is “children” brought her by illegal alien parents, they are DACA. The problem is in defining “children of illegals,” where is the cutoff? And the other issue is that now, many of them have over the course of a number of years of “protection” by DACA become adults ( that is if they weren’t already really adults when they snuck into the country).
What amazes me is that the GOPe is now talking out of the other side of their mouths, just like they did with Obamacare. When they were in the “minority” they crowed loud and long about deporting “everybody.” Now they are “pressuring” the President not to cancel DACA. What a bunch of feckless turds!

I have to laugh every time I hear someone say you can’t send them to a country where they don’t know the language or customs. What about when their parents brought them here?

I appreciate you explaining that fine difference.
As someone who is a citizen, it’s never been anything I’ve ever had to worry about for my own situation. We need to know exactly what is being discussed, though. Word games, semantic games abound.

Obama’s ‘Dream’ became our collective ‘Nightmare’.

“We need to know exactly what is being discussed, though. “

Go rent “The Distinguished Gentleman” starring Eddie Murphy. It’s supposed to be a spoof on Washington Congressional politics, but it’s really the truth about what goes on there.

Obama brought in who knows how many thousands of kids without parents or guardians...As far as I know a section of this Darfa scam will allow those kids to bring their parents and relatives in at a future date...

Encouraging parents to send unaccompanied minors with coyotes across the border was one of the worst things that Obama did. Just think what would happen to an American mother who lived in a violent inner city neighborhood who put her child on a bus alone to get off across the country and hope someone would take care of that child. The churches in the USA are complicit in this atrocity and even get tax money to be so.

Any refugee who returns to his country of origin should forfeit any refugee status. How bad was the country he fled if he can go back for a visit.
