Transgenderism often fosters sexism, as a few feminists pointed out about “I am Jazz”.
By saying a girl who likes sports might be a boy and a boy who likes cooking might be a girl, it is pushing the most restrictive gender stereotypes as the definition of the sex and says “maybe you have to give up those activities or alter your body”.

I agree!!! No one is as old fashioned and binary and stereotypical as a leftist. Get over it that female = high heels and red lipstick, and male = fat with tattoos and permanent beer can in hand.

>>pushing the most restrictive gender stereotypes as the definition of the sex

That is brilliantly well thought out.

Yes, that’s a critical point. We used to just call boyish girls “Tomboys”, and it wasn’t a big deal, certainly did not require permanently disfiguring, sterilizing surgery.

Agreed.

What they don't realize is that they are really doubling down and reinforcing the old gender stereotypes that they claimed they rejected for so long.

A boy who like to do *girl* things like playing with dolls? A girl who's a tomboy and likes sports and hunting with dad?

Instead of saying no problem, it's sexist to assign roles like that, they are telling them now that it really means they are a girl instead or a boy instead.

They are teaching them to deny themselves, who they are, based on the things they are interested in. They are not accepting the individual differences in every child but rather forcing them into molds that are completely subjective.

They are teaching them to not accept themselves as they are and who they are.
