Hurricane “EASY” stalled at the mouth of the Withlacoochee River at Yankeetown Florida in 1950. It dumped 45.2 inches of rain in 24 hours. A combination of river flow, high tides and the rain caused unbelievably high water. A marina, located about 4 miles inland, has the high water level marked on a post. My guess is that it is about 15 feet above present levels.

Long before this Global Warming Hoax was even dreamed up.

38.7 in 24 hours and 45.2 total. But close enough.
