In the new series Ozark, there's a gay FBI agent who is a nasty piece of work and who has just dumped his boyfriend. The boyfriend, also an FBI agent, is clingy. Okay, so there is an unhealthy gay relationship, and an unpleasant gay character. Seems fair enough.

I binge-watched Ozark. It is a good show the has some insight to rural life. Some of the smartest people you will ever find come form the country. In fact, most of the dynamism you find in American cities comes from the recent arrivals from the sticks.

Yeah, well, when there was a male prostitute kneeling in front of him, I shut it off right then and there. I have no need for that. At all. And I understand there was more gay crap later on involving one of those redneck relatives of that trashy 19-year-old girl.
