Acrid, black smoke was seen pouring from a chimney at the Russian consulate in San Francisco and workers began hauling boxes out of the stately building in a historic area of the city Friday, a day after the Trump administration ordered its closure amid escalating tensions between the United States and Russia.

Sorry but Putin is an oddly sputtering guy who periodically blames the whole world for allegedly “looking down on Russia.” Kumbaya this guy is not. I have friends from that part of the world but haven’t heard a lot of fanboying going on over Putin from that quarter either.

That location should have been shuttered DECADES AGO. Look at the picture, they had about the highest ground in the entire area. Compare that to the US embassy in Moscow, which is in a river valley.
