Michigan resident Robert Ritchie—known to fans as that Cicero of shitty country-rap, Kid Rock—has fired back at watchdog groups suggesting that his near-constant comments about running for office might actually make him subject to the U.S.A.’s electioneering laws. Faced with accusations that selling signs with slogans like “Kid Rock For Senate ’18" makes him a candidate—and thus beholden to the Federal Election Campaign Act, which requires candidates to track and report donations and campaign contributions—Ritchie fired back with the same sort of measured response that the Michigan electorate can probably hope to see from him if they get blazed out of their goddamned minds and elect him into office in 2018:

In my thread I pointed out that there is a long established history of entertainers selling products with vote “for” office slogans.
And Kanye is officially selling 2020 presidential campaign shirts on his site.
The Left is selective in their faux outrage and so is the slimeball media.
Not a fan of Kid Rock’s music but he isn’t the dickweed that M&M I mean Auntie Em, I mean Eminem is.
That is EXACTLY the correct response to any liberal nanny state group in literally any situation.

I don’t know how to get “blazed”, but I do know how to get “baked”. He’s got my vote... I think the non-politicians are having a remarkable effect on the gov and the parties.
Washington may soon take on a whole different look with a totally new breed of people. I am not sure that this is a bad thing. All we have managed to get out of our current crop is lifelong people who live off the public trough and become beholden to special interests instead of us. Thus the popularity of Donald Trump.
