“Can demonrats vote in republican primaries there? If so that must stop”

I think the only ones prohibited from voting in the Republican runoff are those who voted in the Democrat primary.

So McConnell/Barbour/Rove/Strange can recruit voters who didn’t vote at all (Rs, Ds, Is) as well as those who voted in the Republican primary.

Ds and Is who did not vote in the Dim primary can vote in the Republican runoff.

I would never assume to foist the ways of politics from my native NY State on people in a conservative state such as Alabama

BUT:

Here you register by party. Dem, Rep, other parties..... or independent.

When you go to vote in the primaries you have the ability to vote ONLY for the party you’re registered for. Period.

Makes sense to me
