There’s always the park brake and the ability to turn the steering wheel to go uphill to then put the trans back in PArk.
Don’t late model cars have dual braking systems, where one front wheel and the opposite rear wheel are on one line, and the remaining two wheels on the other. If one line fails, there are two remaining wheels with brakes. IIRC, my 81 VW Rabbit had that. Diesel with 5 spd. stick. Sweet car.
Show us a busted brake hose and maybe we will believe you! I had one break on me years ago. I had enough sense to know what had happened and grabbed the parking brake.
Most people today completely forget the parking brake is even there.
