The majority of New Jerseyans consider the state to be off on the wrong track, but also have no opinion or dont know either of the governor candidates, according to a Rutgers-Eagleton Poll released on Thursday.
Across many topics, New Jerseyans are dissatisfied with the current state of affairs. Gov. Chris Christies job approval rating sits at 16 percent, the lowest in recent history, with 79 percent disapproving of his job so far.

NJ’s problem is that it exists next door to the most self-serving, self-obsessed, self-important lunatic asylum on planet earth.
that would screw up anybody.
“Off on the wrong track.” I’ve never heard that phraseology before. “Off the tracks” and “on the wrong track,” sure. Is that New Jersey lingo?
Solution-
Elect more Democrats. Especially for governor.
Just now they are thinking this?
Otherwise, maybe they could move to Cali?
“The majority of New Jerseyans consider the state to be off on the wrong track”
Democrats having majorities in both the assembly and state senate will do that.
Typical democrat playground, people are unhappy but also completely uninformed and ignorant. The minions will simply elect a democrat to mess things up worse. Keep in mind the papers are literally owned by the Democrats, NYC and Philly TV will ignore any republican.
Mixed metaphors if you ask me
It’s not Chris Christie’s fault the State sucks. It’s the constant Dem policies and influence that never ends screwing up the State. And it will stay that way long after Christie is out of office.
My first thought was, "more Democrats". My second thought was, "more cowbell".
New Jersey has been on the wrong track for decades.
Unlikely to be remedied in my lifetime.
What future? Corrupt pols, incompetent governor, insane property taxes, one party state, muslim strongholds in various northern communities, Amtrak & Jersey Transit falling apart...
Woody Allen’s definition of God: An all powerful, loving force that permeates the entire universe except certain parts of New Jersey.
I don’t live in NJ, but I can tell u what the future holds.
MORE TAXES.
Exactly right. Christie did his best to hold back the tide of spending, pay to play and corruption in Trenton but he was outnumbered on both sides of the aisle who love the status quo.
The solution might have to be bankruptcy or blow it (Trenton) all up (metaphorically).
Most of them have moved to North Carolina.
We have a good friend here in California who moved here from NJ after a divorce 30 years ago. To this day she’s a dyed in the wool RAT who thinks that NJ is a wonderful place. She isn’t really intelligent enough to have a reasoned conversation about the role of government. It’s all about the function of government being to ‘bring home the bacon.” She has absolutely no idea of where “the bacon” comes from. And FWIW, in large measure, these are the people who by “emigrating” to California, from $hit hole Eastern States like NJ, have turned this state into #50 from #1 back when RR was our governor. Them and their “illegal alien Mexican brothers and sisters.”
Kick out all the illegals & imprison all the gang members—with NO plea bargaining—and see how the citizens hat belong there feel then.
