Former United States Ambassador to the United Nations John Bolton discussed his National Review op-ed on how to get the U.S. out of the Iran nuclear agreement with Breitbart News Daily SiriusXM host Alex Marlow on Thursday.
Below is an excerpt from Boltons NRO piece: Although candidate Donald Trump repeatedly criticized Barack Obamas Iran nuclear agreement, his administration has twice decided to remain in the deal. It so certified to Congress, most recently in July, as required by law. Before the second certification, Trump asked repeatedly for alternatives to acquiescing yet again in a policy he clearly abhorred. But no such options were forthcoming, despite a sharp series of exchanges between the president and his advisers, as the New York Times and similar press reports characterized it.

We need Tillerson out and Bolton in.
I do wish Bolton had some official role in the Trump admin.
Isn’t this consistent with what this President has been saying all along?
What gives?
McMaster’s fingerprints are all over the so called agreement. The people pushing to get us out of it are gone. We still don’t know what is in it. We do know Obongo sent pallets of cash to Iran, gee l wonder what they did with the money?
What are his options?
Congress would be loathe to disappoint their Big Business buds who were chomping at the bit to reopen commerce with the oil-rich Ayatollahs...that was the driving force behind the treaty in the first place, IMO. Nor will any of our “allies” be willing to re-establish trade sanctions.
Whatever solution he comes up with will have to happen despite the treaty.
But...but...Bob Corker and Ted Cruz worked so frantically to shove this through.
Sure dodged a bullet with neocon Bolton. We’d probably be at war now with Syria, Russia, and North Korea at this point with him.
Iran deal is a Constitutionally illegal and treasonous scheme that should have put the Kenyan’s a** in jail. Those who supported it are criminally negligent. It must be erased.
The deal with Iran was one of the few things Obama got right. Conflict with Iran only benefits Saudi Arabia and Israel, not the US.
You forgot the /s
In what alternate universe is giving $150 billion to fanatical ayatollahs the right thing to do?
Better to influence the Iranians with rewards and penalties according to behavior than with an implacable hostility that is the prescription of people like Bolton.
McMaster.
Boeing already has a huge order from Iran for bombers airliners.
