What specific actions would you take today in order to protect your 5- or 6-year-old child from, for example, being removed from class and threatened with punishment for deliberately or accidentally adhering to reality (”misgendering”) in his interaction with classmates?

1. Take the child out of the school. Enroll him or her in a private/religious school where they don't teach that bullsh!t, or educate the child at home.

2. There is no #2.

Oh, I see I misunderstood your earlier comment entirely! Thank you for responding politely to a question that must have made very little sense.

LOL — not at all. The question made sense in the context of my previous post. I can see I wasn’t totally clear about what I was saying.

I am thinking that the b est way to school kids in the VERY near future would be ON LINE school. FAR fewer teachers——no restrictions about how many students in each class—cost to taxpayers drops significantly—no buildings needed. Tests harder to steal & cheat off of. Do your homework & do it electronically. Kids who are smarter can get thru their classes quicker & be out into the workforce sooner. No bullying can happen

Lots of good reasons to switch to ON LINE schools.

I had 14 years of Catholic education, elementary, secondary, and university.

Conclusion: Be very very very wary! Beware of Marxist Liberation Theology indoctrination!

My daughter taught in a Catholic elementary school. She was the **only** teacher who did NOT vote for Obama.

Remember, please, that Obama supported partial birth abortion and voted 3 times to allow the killing of the survivors of abortion by allowing them to freeze to death in the stainless steel sink of a hospital utility room. My daughter's class was the **only** class that did not watch Obama’s flubbed oath to uphold the Constitution at the inauguration.

Nearly every teacher in this nation was trained by godless Marxists. This is true for both private and government schools.

SCARY!

“””But before making that choice, parents should also keep in mind that if they retreat from this fight, their children will merely face the same dogma later—at college, in the workplace, and in life—and by then, the population at large will have been socially conditioned to unquestioningly accept the gospel of gender-identity.”””

The whole article leads you to believe the author is advocating against this horrid dogma. She cancels that out will this. By the time your children are teenagers you should have taught them that trans is a mental illness and even though the rest might be conditioned at least your children will know better.

To All,
After pulling all of our kids out of these schools (a move I wholeheartedly agree with), what then? Do we simply leave the rest of those kids (what would you think? 50%? 60%? 70%? of America’s children) in these schools to be indoctrinated into this nonsense?

Won’t be good enough. Our children will be growing up in a world where this pernicious garbage will abound more and more on all sides (in the workplace, at the restaurants they’ll eat at, etc.)

No, the answer is to take the schools back. The war is being ramped up big time and all anyone around here wants to do is retreat.

We think it is fundamentally different for the state to say to a parent, ‘You can’t teach your child German or send him to a parochial school,’ than for the parent to say to the state, ‘You can’t teach my child subjects that are morally offensive to me.’ The first instance involves the state proscribing parents from educating their children, while the second involves parents prescribing what the state shall teach their children.

There is no difference. Whether the state says that parents cannot teach their children German, or the school states that children *will* learn LBGTQ propaganda, it is the same effect--the parents' decision is taken away.

Outside of actual education of the fundamental three Rs, the state really has no business forcing *any* subject. Especially not subjects that are selected for the purpose of propagandizing and conditioning children to react emotionally instead of critically thinking.

Putting radical leftists into positions where they can influence the culture from within--the education and entertainment industries--was a tactic of the Soviet Union in its long-term strategy to bring down the US. McCarthy tried to stop it...it was already too powerful. And now, the consequences of McCarthy's failure are snowballing.

I tried subbing at a Catholic school - be careful!

While many aspects are better, students still need to be taught academics.

We are placing far too little emphasis on actual knowledge and too much on social aspects that children do not have the maturity to understand.

My children have attended a private Christian school, and have also had CCD and various other educational programs in 3 different RC parishes (all in the Northeast). My oldest daughter went to a Catholic private college for two years before transferring out this year.

If you think Catholic education will teach the truth about LGBTQ, I think you are dreaming.

It may be if your children get private lessons from Raymond Burke that they will hear the truth, hear the gospel proclaimed, and understand that changing your sex is impossible.

But if they are taught by randomly-selected religious and clergy, the chances that they will be taught the LGBTQ catechism are very high, IMO.

Okay Jim, I do not doubt what you say; you obviously are speaking from experience.

And I am therefore going to pay much closer attention to my own local Catholic School for any signs of any nonsense, and act accordingly.

What then? As I stated in my response, if you can not afford to send your child to Catholic school, go to the diocese and look to get a needs based scholarship. We have collections every year to support other children to go to Catholic schools. However, if we are to keep the sanctity of parenthood, and get away from the state making schooling decisions, the parent still has to reach out and send their child to Catholic school. That is what should happen to the “rest of the children” as you asked about in your post.

The "rest of the children" will probably encompass a number more than the Catholic school system is able or willing to pay for (some 30-40 million). Most have parents who cannot afford to pay for education or invest the time to homeschool. That number represents a vast majority of tomorrow's future citizens (when compared with those who will be homeschooled/private schooled.)

No. The ugly reality is our side has done nothing but retreat when it comes to public education...and it seems like the "solution" is to do more of the same...and that answer lacks vision.
