The very name, “Southern Poverty Law Center”, is a wonderment of how to confuse their very real aims. First of all, their enterprise has virtually nothing to do with “southern poverty”, as it is a front for filing nuisance lawsuits and intimidation of ANY conservative and constitutional interests. What they practice is not “law” but a series of “class actions” against mostly imaginary incidents of “racism”, which are the implementation of the previously mentioned intimidating actions. And “center” implies that they are a local, formal office, made up of brick and mortar, with suits who come in every day and work assiduously at whatever their job descriptions claim they are doing.
It is a boiler room operation which does not even stay within the definition of their mission statement.
That’s not accurate
They actually have a real office
A very fancy one actually
