Actually, if some folks would just fill out the proper paperwork and be willing to do things legit....plenty of Latino non-Americans could get the work-visa...get driven up to Houston for three or four months of active work, pay fair taxes, get legit hourly rates, and be all legal. It surprises me that just about everyone wants the non-work-permit Latino to exist....when it is fairly easy to get the work-visa.

Yes! Thats what smart commercial orchards are doing...there should be H2 program that brings workers in, pays them, then sends them back.

It is not that easy to get a work permit and it should be made more difficult. At any one time we have over 2 million guest workers in this country at a time when our labor participation rates are the lowest since the 1970s..
