New Zealand goes to the polls on the 23rd.

As of a month ago, the center-right National Party looked good to continue in power. Since then, Labour has come on strong, and now has apparently overtaken National. Labour is being propelled by Jacinda Ardern, a 37-year-old firebrand leftist. She advocates higher taxes, the green agenda, feminism, increased immigration, and she is an self-proclaimed agnostic. Did I mention increasing taxes? Not that many politicians outright call for higher taxes.

At this point, the real winner of the election may be Winston Peters of the New Zealand First party.. He has expressed a mild preference for Bill English, the leader of National, for Prime Minister. Plus, National's manifesto is much more aligned with that of New Zealand First, now that Labour has been Jacinda'ized.

But, it looks like New Zealand has grown tired of being a prosperous little country and wants to have a fling with the radical left-wing.

New Zealand's lost.We must acknowledge that,at best,New Zealand is a new Sweden or,at worst,that she's a new Belarus.The Marxists have won there.

As a result we must understand that if the poop hits the fan New Zealand will be nowhere to be found.OTOH she must understand that if *she's* ever in a bind we won't be there to answer the phone call.
