A Nevada jury dealt another blow this week to the governments case against participants in an armed uprising against federal agents three years ago.
On Tuesday, a jury acquitted two men, Richard Lovelien and Steven Stewart, of all 10 charges against them, and two others, Eric Parker and O. Scott Drexler, on most counts. The jury deadlocked on the remaining charges against Parker and Drexler, and the judge declared a mistrial.
This was the second trial for the four men, who had been accused of conspiracy to impede or injure a federal officer, among other charges. A jury in April deadlocked on all charges against them.
I think I will pass. Thanks for the phone numbers.
I had very high hopes for Sessions, so far am not convinced he will fix it. In my opinion, it will take some serious house cleaning within DOJ to bring back the rule of law that was destroyed under Obama.
The Waco Bikers (TwinPeaks) trials are another of these Fed Nightmares. Keep thinking that will begin, so far nothing but delays and excuses and 170 lives destroyed for an agenda. (yes, I really believe that)
Yes, the words that must not be spoken in Federal Courts. smile.
So do I. And Sessions praises the Bundy persecutors as Hillary, Lynch and others roam free.
Surely Sessions should see the agenda. Surely Trump and his advisors can.
So far, the agenda has not been targeted.
There is a hearing on this case tomorrow at 830 in Las Vegas.
Supporters of the defendants will be watching.
The top five accused along with the two where charges were split apparently 11-1 not guilty will appear before the judge.

No trial for whoever shot LaVoy, just a trial about an FBI agent who lied moved back to February next year in Portland.
Trial originally scheduled this week but government said to want shrapnel from Ryan Bundy who was injured that night LaVoy was killed. Want to see if it was lying FBI agent’s bullet that hit him.
FBI Hostage Rescue Team member W. Joseph Astarita has a four lawyer high profile legal team led by a Washington lawyer who successfully defended a former GOP senator on corruption charges.
Ok Mr. Sessions, time to put a halt to this nonsense.
when will the gubment be reimbursing these fine fellows for their legal expenses and time? it seems the people have spoken.
Sessions won’t do squat, unless it’s to support the prosecution.
What an ass he’s turned out to be.
Well they will not be in a hurry. When these trials are all over, there will have to be a class action lawsuit. Then bring a lot of popcorn.
Would prefer otherwise, but don’t look for it.
Like a gambling joint, the Feds don’t expect to loose and do all they can to see that they don’t.
