1 trillion is some dishonest journalism:
I would believe that number is maybe for this >decade-old program which generated this whole new class of nuclear weapons bearing this feature.
They want you to believe it’s PER bomb:

Actually, with the new strategic missile and infrastructure, new cruise missile, new boomer sub, warhead upgrades, alert aircraft and much, much more, yeah, a trillion over the next 30 years is probably a good number.
