Angela Merkel insists she has no regrets about letting in a million migrants in one year [TR]

German Chancellor Angela Merkel has said she regrets nothing about her response to the migrant crisis of 2015.

More than a million people from across Asia, Africa, Europe and the Middle East entered Germany two years ago after Mrs Merkel opened her country's doors to Syrian refugees.

Her party's support dropped as a consequence and led to a surge in support for the right-wing Alternative for Germany (AfD) party, which pollsters say could win up to 10 percent in the September election. But in an interview with the Welt am Sonntag newspaper, the chancellor said she would do everything 'the same way again' if she had the opportunity.

'I'd make all the important decisions of 2015 the same way again,' Merkel said.

'It was an extraordinary situation and I made my decision based on what I thought was right from a political and humanitarian standpoint. 'Those kinds of extraordinary situations happen every once in a while in a country's history,' she added. 'The head of government has to act and I did.'

She also attacked EU countries that refused to accept migrants as part of a redistribution plan, explaining that such behaviour is 'not on'.

'That contradicts the spirit of Europe,' she said. 'We'll overcome that. 'It will take time and patience but we will succeed.'

Hopefully, that blatant boast might get her voted OUT.

Yeah I don’t understand how anyone could vote to re-elect her.

“If given the chance to destroy Germany again, Merkel said yes.”

And the Germans have no problem with that - looks like they’re going to re-elect her in a landslide.

Germans are still shackled by guilt, deep feelings of regret and shame.
They will never man up, having lost their best men in the war. It will lead to their downfall. Deutschland is irreparably cucked and lost.
Recall that video of Angie tossing their flag aside like it was trash? And here, “All this for a flag?”
Could have been us, but for candidate Trump.

Schulz is even worse. Funny as it is Merkel’s party is the conservative big party in Germany.

God,so many American men died for NOTHING if one looks at the long view. I also think Germany (especially its gene pool) took such a beating after two World Wars,it will never recover.

The Germans could save Europe by being as kind to Merkel as the Italian partisans were to Mussolini when HE attempted to destroy Europe.

You can only vote for the ones on the ballot...that’s why. The fix is in.

ZERO chance of any of the smaller parties (like the AfD) to have one of their candidates become chancellor.

Like the RINO/Democrat candidates being presented to voters in most US elections.

“All represent a different future for Germany...”

But by then it will be too late. Germany will be no more

The childless communist crone has zero concern for what she leaves behind. Many of the leaders in Europe are childless and do not care.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel, Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte, French President Emmanuel Macron, Swedish Prime Minister Stefan Löfven, Luxembourg’s Prime Minister Xavier Bettel and Scottish First Minister Nicola Sturgeon.

Germany carefully constructed an election system designed to prevent people from being able to have a voice. It is designed to prevent another NSDAP from sweeping into power quickly.

But this wall has actually served to protect the German leaders from consequences, not to protect Germany from bad leaders.

That explains a lot. They’re not affected by any of their own policies. These “leaders” are evil.
