Switching to diesel from gasoline, the monumental regulatory effort launched by the European Union in the late 1990s, ended up delivering only thimbles-full of avoided greenhouse pollution compared to competing gasoline engines. But it made the air in European cities significantly less breathable thanks to diesel particulates and nitrogen oxides.

Our insanity gave us the CFL bulb debacle. Thankfully, Duke Power has recovered some sanity and just sent us a free case of LED bulbs.
We like them, so far!
It gave us LED light bulbs. I’ve replaced nearly all my CFL light bulbs. They’re brighter and run cooler too!

Those two diesels featured *none* of the black smoke (there was *no* smoke,in fact) and *none* of the smell that once was experienced with diesels.
It's my understanding that diesels sold in Europe, and some VW diesels sold here, haven't had DEF.
Perhaps that's the problem
And another 100% chance that it will be blamed on President Trump.
If he had just signed the Paris Accord, this hurricane would not have formed.
Women, children and minorities hardest hit, blah, blah

Progressives know that the industries we have created, which our energy system powers, has made life better for most people.
That’s why they try to shut it down at every turn. They have nothing but contempt for ordinary people, and they know that the more people they can make dependent, the more power and money they can accrue. And that is the ONLY thing they care about.
If people have to die for the self-aggrandizement of progressives, well, it’s none of the progressives’ concern.
