Banning Internet sites is stupid, no matter how unsavory they are, and that includes Jihadists as well.
Because leaving them alone enables them and their members to be exposed for what they are.
Freedom of speech is a wonderful thing, for it quickly exposes the fools.

Terrorists do indeed act through the “dark web” instead of the open-display sites. Although I’m not so sure with “Antifa” sometimes.

Banning Internet sites is stupid, no matter how unsavory they are, and that includes Jihadists as well. Because leaving them alone enables them and their members to be exposed for what they are.That is exactly right. Last week I watched a documentary on fighting ISIS in the cyber war with them. They were driven off of the popular social media sites like Twitter and Facebook so now they use some newer messaging site that has military grade encryption and changed other techniques as well. It is now nearly impossible to even detect their communications much less decipher what they're saying.
Good intentions screwed that pooch.
