“Other than the Afghanistan policy being modified, virtually everything else is being done according to the President’s campaign promisescertainly about as good as could be reasonably expected. Any blame for failures to implement MAGA lies squarely at the feet of the GOPe cowards in Congress. Practically speaking, they’ve done more to weaken this president than the Democrats have, quite frankly. The proof of that is the yuge mumber of primary challenges that we’re going to see in 2018 on the GOP side. It’s apparent already.
So Sebastian Gorka can moan about being isolated and there not being enough Bannon types in the White House, but as far as I can see, the man at the top is still 100% MAGA.
It’s Gorka who looks like a whiny loser whose actions only exacerbate the problem he’s complaining about. It’s as if he is saying “It’s too hard! I quit!”
Until there are some kind of pronounced changes in President Trump’s domestic policies which don’t comport with “make America great again” and “drain the Swamp”, I’ll refrain from the predictable second-guessing. There appear to be a sufficient number of armchair quarterbackson both the Left and Rightplaying that role...”
It would be a shame if Gorka and Bannon let the Afghanistan issue chase them out. But I suspect that there is more to it than that.
