I’d be willing to take a beating if it leads to America awakening to the truth about the Bolshevik threat to our freedom and liberty.

Martyrdom is greatly overrated. If you really believe that you should attend the next scheduled festivities in your area, you might want to bring a number of burly friends with you.
You might also stand off at distance to meet-and-greet the "visitors". Being in the middle of a crowd seems like a bad idea.
It would be best to immediately leave an area after an incident occurs.
