The reason is simple. Radical Muslims and radical leftists are now allied and joined at the hip. Since she’s the opponent of radical Islam, the SPLC has to smear her to help their misogynist, intolerant partners.

The SPLC has been a leftwing hate group since Day One.
There used to be a no borders faction here at FR that would post SPLC material. They were for Bush’s amnesty and labeled anyone who objected as racists, xenophobes, nativists, the usual. They got a lot of border patriots banned. That worm sure has turned.

Ayaan Hirsi Ali correctly points out that Islam in its funding and practice is intolerant, harsh towards non-believers and tolerates no dissent among its followers. She warns the west that Islam uses western free speech and tolerance to worm its way into our society but once here will in numbers will put us all under Shira law.

Remember Morris Dees started out with a lucrative
mail order scam. Sure they did win an important lawsuit against the klan, since then whatever good came out of that case has been way overshadowed by their sleazy "anyone even mildly critical of us is a racist monster who must be exposed and isolated" attitude.
