We know two couples from our church who use Blue Apron and like it. One couple is in their late 50/60’s and the other is in their 80’s!
Both women don’t like to shop for food anymore. The guys are not that good shopping fo produce/fruit selection nor meat/fish selection.
Both get the Blue Apron Box/bag 3 times a week. They have enough left overs for the next day. One wife still like to cook and gets a little creative with her Blue Apron meals. The other wife has hand and wrist problems so the guy does the prep, and he bitches about it.
They like the meals and feel that the service saves time and probably money. Not having to drive in our community and worry about parking becomes more of a factor every day. Which is why more of us use Amazon for our shopping. That will get more interesting with the Walmart/Google merger.
They will stay customers unless the prices get out of hand.
Yes, the wife and I are Blue Apron customers too. Phenomenal quality foods for the price. More than enough for the two of us for the week. On weekends, I do the barbecuing with grass fed beef and fresh fish.
