I don’t quite see why that’s relevant. My point was that some people don’t take these warnings seriously because the media has cried wolf so many times in the past.
That doesn’t mean that they’re doing so THIS time - but I suspect that’s part of the reason a number of people are saying they’re going to “hunker down” and sit the storm out.
But since discussing the effect of the media in this thread is frowned upon, I’m bowing out.
I do hope everyone stays safe, however.
