To: real saxophonist
The Forgotten Man was by Maynard Dixon in 1934. The image and title was derived from Dixon. This artwork is at BYU where the kid probably got the image and the title.

Okay. You know the composer’s recipe for fried chicken? First, steal a chicken. I’m sure the same thing goes on in visual arts as well.
