After backing Chiang Kai Shek throughout WW2 , with everything from the Flying Tigers , to the Burma Road , to flying supplies over the Hump , to basing the 1st B-29’s in China , why ....why in the world would we not support him in gaining a victory over Mao’s forces ?

The only solution I can think of is that when it comes to war , America always relies on feckless, clueless , cowardly CIVILIANS to call the shots. When it should be the warriors that cement the victories .

I believe the U.S. should have 2 Presidents ; one for civilian affairs and one for prosecuting war fighting .

I’d rather be led by a warrior king than a spineless clueless civilian politician , any day .
