Lake Ontario just receded from record highs earlier this week. The lakes aren’t going anywhere.
When I worked at Point Beach Nuclear Plant, the discharge flume into Lake Michigan was 35°F warmer than the intake from the Lake. The fish were swimming in the discharge and keeping stationary with the flow.
Fish like warm water. It is good for them, like every other creature. The researchers here are insane.
