I think Trump understands how evil Nazis, Communists, and other murderous ideologies are just fine. Hence the fact that condemned all sides.
Also, what I don't understand is that if there was such a large movement of Nazis and White Supremacists in this country, why wasn't this issue during the 8 years Obama was President? Why is this suddenly such an issue after Charlottesville?

This is a mindless, unprofessional and wicked mess of an “article.” Does he have a nameless source who told him what President Trump knows or did he just make it up himself.

Everyone who opposes hurting innocent people should reject Hitler, Nazism, and the swastika, because those things stand for hurting innocent people.

For the love of......for reals, player? O'Reilly comes out from under his rock and this is his first pitch?
Scroo him.

Neo-Nazi’s are a small fringe group of jerks, and there is no huge ‘white supremacy’ movement in the US. If O’Reilly thinks otherwise, I call upon him to offer details and confirmatory evidence.

Did you know that German Americans comprise the largest ethnic group in this country? What is the possible relevance of this observation? (Hey, BOR, meet Dwight David *Eisenhower*, a German-American who did more to defeat the Nazis before breakfast than you'll do your whole life.)

Bill O’Reilly does not write “history” books, he writes speculative history books. What he “knows” about what Trump knows about the evils of the Nazis wouldn’t fill the tip of my little finger.

I think O’Reilly’s problem is that he does not understand what Nazism really is. Mr. Trump is most definitely not a Nazi.

FDR denied Jewish Refugees entrance into the United States when Nazism took hold in Germany.
FDR forced Japanese American Citizens into Concentration Camps denying them their Freedom and their Private Property Rights.
FDR is the best Democrat ever!

That's why no other discussion can take place when Nazis are being analyzed. They must stand alone in any vilification even though Stalin, Mao, Tojo and others also committed premeditated mass murder on a staggering scale.Looks like 0'Reilly is the idiot that doesn't know history. He's just virtue signalling by suggesting that Trump must follow the sheep herd. Yes, in American popular culture of the past half century Nazis have been the preeminent boogeyman. But only because we fought them directly and paid a high price to defeat them. Not at all because their atrocities exceeded those of Stalin, Mao and Tojo. They did not.

“But in many American public schools, World War II and Nazism is barely mentioned. Adolph Hitler has become a caricature of evil, a distant monster.”
Right on the money. We don’t teach history. We teach “social studies”. The difference? They only teach a little slice of history with a huge helping of, “now this is how you should think about it.” Anything that isn’t useful to the enforcers of public morality gets ignored.

O’Reilly does not understand that the eugenics racism that Hitler used against Jews and other classes of people, was the eugenics racism developed by southern Democrats. The Nazis used the same language word for word to justify their elimination of Jews. Both believed they belonged to the superior race and others were genetically inferior to be eliminated by the state.

Did you know that German Americans comprise the largest ethnic group in this country?...yes, and I'm one of them in part- what are you saying O'Reilly? - am I somehow related to Nazism? - this really is skating on the edge of hate-speech to me - if we're going to continue to prosecute the sins of the past where does it stop, and who is guiltless - which of your ancestors planted terrorist bombs and murdered innocent English citizens, O'Reilly?....

Bill OReilly’s real failure is not understanding the evils of Revolutionary Communism.
