According to this video the car incident was WAY earlier at 1:40 PM.

According to one article the pilots dropped off McAuliffe and were asked to surveil the violence then
4:00 PM left Charlottesville- Ablemarle Airport
This possibly conflicts with the prior report of them dropping off McAuliffe
Between leaving at 4:00 PM and 4:45 PM he helicopter was doing surveillance in the downtown area
4:45 PM the helicopter was in downtown Charlottesville
4:45 PM the helicopter got called to provide support for McAuliffe’s motorcade
4:45 PM the helicopter made a call to emergency services
4:50 PM the helicopter crashes 7 miles southwest of downtown Charlottesville
Robby Noll was an eyewitness to the crash.
There is also a video where a guy with a Spanish accent reports on seeing the helicopter go down linked from one of the linked from the linked thread. One report states it went down in a residential neighborhood, but other footage seems to show woods.
This video seems to show inconsistencies and strange things more than described prior:
9 seconds only one stop sign on right of crash spot, a news photo referenced previously showed two stop signs on the right.
